"Chris Brown feat. Lil Wayne and Swizz Beatz - I Can Transform Ya"

After Taking A Long Time Off, Chris Brown Releases His Newest Song I Can Transform Ya Off Of His Upcoming Album Graffiti

We all know where Chris Brown has been. There needs to be no discussion of that. Via Twitter, CB said that he was going to release the newest song I Can Transform Ya today instead of tomorrow. The song features Lil Wayne and is produced by Swizz Beatz and will be featured on Graffiti.

I am not going to lie, this isn't really that good. For being gone for such a long time, I thought the newest song would be something a lot better than this. I was expecting something that could kill Jay Sean's Down as the current party song. Lil Wayne's part on the song is kind of legit, but Swizz Beatz is just there. Overall, meh.

Goodbye Michael Jackson...

The King Of Pop, Michael Jackson Has Died At The Age Of 50.

Reports of him being rushed to hospital were confirmed by TMZ on Thursday afternoon, the same network were the first to confirm his untimely death just hours later. According to reports, paramedics arrived at his home to find him with no pulse, he had suffered a fatal heart attack.

Not since the passing of Aaliyah almost a decade ago, have I actually been in shock at a celebrities death. MJ was beyond a legend, there is not yet a word with enough magnitude to describe his musical abilities & contributions.

As one of the lucky people who were looking forward to seeing him in the flesh in 2 weeks time, I am saddened that I will never get that chance. I am sad that Michael will never get the chance to recover his crown & make a comeback & that the very fame that made him, was ultimately his killer.

It seems to me that Michael lived a life drowned in sadness & has now suffered a tragic death, but still managed to bring such joy to peoples lives. I only hope that the Jackson family can take comfort in knowing that the world mourns with you.

"Clipse feat. Kanye West - Kinda Like A Big Deal" (Video)

The Clipse Release The Video For Their New Single, Kinda Like A Big Deal, Featuring Kanye West

The Clipse are set to release their newest album, Til The Casket Drops, in September 2009. The album will be the third from the Clipse, and will feature a collection of production from Kanye West to J.U.S.T.I.C.E.

I was kind of mixed when I first heard Kinda Like A Big Deal and when I saw the video. I don't think that talking about how you can spend $100,000 in a recession is appropriate considering how many people have lost their jobs. We get it: you're rich and have made a lot of money from rapping, excuse the rest of us who live an average life and are very lucky to be able to listen to your music. But overall, it is kind of a legit song and the video I think could have been a lot better, but I think the Clipse and Kanye did a good all around job.

"Wale - Chillin" (Video)

Wale Releases The Video For His Newest Single Chillin', Featuring Lady Gaga

I had to put this up here because Wale is one of my favorite rappers right now. I really liked him when Nike Boots came out a while back, and I saw the teaser for Chillin' a little while ago, so I was looking forward to the video coming out. The video features Bodega, a hidden delicacy in Boston known for its unique clothes and shoes.

I love Wale and the song, and for the first time I actually like Lady Gaga on a track. The video is pretty cool, and I like it because I am a big fan of Bodega. Chillin' is definitely my favorite song right now.

"The Dream feat. Kanye West - Walkin' On The Moon" (Video)

The Dream Debuts The Video For His Newest Single, Walkin' On The Moon, Featuring Kanye West And Off Of His Album Love vs. Hate

The Dream teamed up with Kanye West for Walkin' On The Moon, not only to feature on the track, but West had a hand in producing the track along with L.O.S. Da Maestro. The single was put up on the site a while back, so if you are looking to download it, it is on UR...

I really liked the song, and slowly, The Dream is beginning to grow on me, and I am beginning to like him more as an artist. However, for some reason I thought the video could have been a lot better. It is still pretty cool and really edgy, but I felt with The Dream and Kanye, they had a lot they could work with for the video and really didn't do the best job possible. It got a little too futuristic for me.

Featured Artist : Black Canvas

Just In Time For The Summer, Black Canvas Provides Music Lovers With A Dose Of Smooth Reggae Fused With Hip Hop From Their Album, Rise

Being from Cali, I know a thing or two about what good reggae music is. So when I first heard about a reggae group from Gloucester, I was a little hesitant. Not anymore. Who doesn't enjoy riding around their car in the summer listening to some good reggae music? Well, Black Canvas and their new album Rise deserves to be on everyone's system.

Broken Dreams is just one of the singles of Rise, and it is definitely my favorite song from it. Broken Dreams kind of has the best of both worlds. It can be a song you play while driving around and relaxing with friends, or it can be played at night to groove and dance to. That is the best thing about Black Canvas because they aren't strictly reggae or hip-hop. Instead, they fused different types of genres to create a unique sound that can go anywhere. Definitely get a copy of Rise.

"Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be"

The Latest From The Black Eyed Peas Is Imma Be Off Of Their Newest Album The E.N.D.

The Black Eyed Peas are set to release their newest album The E.N.D. on June 9, 2009, and Imma Be is the latest song from the album. The next single was supposed to be I Gotta Feeling, but this has come out before even though I Gotta Feeling will probably be the next official single.

The hook of Imma Be kind of gets annoying after a while, but it isn't too bad of a song; I like it. The beat is pretty cool and changes up a lot and is similar to Boom Boom Pow. There are some pretty solid lyrics on the song too. As long as the BEP keep up with songs like Boom Boom Pow and Imma Be, The E.N.D. will be very successful.

"T.I. - Its All Real"

Even Though He Is Going To Jail Soon, T.I. Still Seems To Come Up With Hot A New Single, Its All Real

Yes. When you first listen to this song, that is exactly what you think it is. Vanessa Carlton, 1000 Miles. Just like Live Your Life, T.I. has managed to take a random sample and make it into a song of his own. Its All Real comes only days before T.I. is set to go to jail for a year.

This song is legit. The beat is first off ridiculous and a creative use of Carlton's song. I am not sure if this is the finished product of the song, but either way it is a song that I think everyone can love. It could be something that didn't make Paper Trail because T.I. apparently had an extra 20 or 30 songs that didn't make the cut, and he was set to release them on a new album. If that is the case, I do not know how this wouldn't make Paper Trail. I am sorry for the lame ass internet DJ, if I find a version without it I will swap it out and put the clean version up.

"St. Lunatics - St. Lunatics" (Video)

St. Lunatics Release Their Video For Their Newest Single St. Lunatics Off Of Their Upcoming Album City Free

St. Lunatics have taken some time off, but they are back with their newest video for their single, St. Lunatics. City Free is the third album from with their last album coming out in 2006. City Free is due out during the summer of 2009. This article will be kind of confusing with all the "St. Lunatics"...

I like the beat of St. Lunatics, and it reminds me a lot of their stuff off their first album, Free City. I don't think this will be the best song off of City Free, but I do not think that it is a bad start at all. Some of the lyrics are pretty tight, and Nelly has easily the best verse on the song. If I had to make one complaint about the song, it would be the length; however, it is good to hear something from St. Lunatics, and I am looking forward to see what they come up with for the new album.

"Eminem - 3 A.M." (Video Trailer)

Eminem Releases The Trailer For His 3 A.M. Video And A Promo For The Upcoming Release Of Relapse

I didn't like the song 3 A.M. (not saying Em fans won't), but this trailer is really weird. I get how it goes with the theme of the song, but it is a little intense. Eminem is shown running around the woods, very similar to the Blair Witch Project. Also in the video is a ton of dead bodies and blood running up walls, it is not the cheeriest video and can be a little bit scary and creepy. At the end there is a promo for the release date of Relapse as well.

"Eminem - 3 A.M."

The Newest Single, 3 A.M., Off Of Eminem's Latest Album Relapse Is Leaked

Some of the stuff off of Eminem's newest album Relapse has been leaking, and 3 A.M. is the most recent song to do that. The picture is the album cover for the Relapse. The track is produced by Dr. Dre and is the third song off of Relapse to come out.

3 A.M. is not really my style. I am not saying that it is a bad song, but it isn't exactly what I am into. For a lot of the hardcore and true Em fans they will really enjoy it. The beat is pretty cool, but the lyrics are dark, which is typical of Eminem's style. His dark songs are the ones that I don't like. I don't know how much I will listen to this song, but I think it will do pretty well with a lot of Eminem's fans.

"Kanye West feat. Young Jeezy - Amazing" (Video)

Kanye West Debuts His Newest Video For Amazing, His Song Featuring Young Jeezy Off Of His Album 808s & Heartbreak

Amazing. That pretty much sums up what this video is in my opinion. The video, directed by Hype Williams, is the latest from 808s & Heartbreak, which dropped in November of 2008. The video is shot in Hawaii and offers stunning views of the Hawaiian scenery.

The video is very simple yet extravagant at the same time. The video features only Kanye and Jeezy mainly, but is set against different shots of all around Hawaii. The most amazing shots are the ones from a helicopter of the coast line. I still think the voco is a little weird, but I think it is a really good song, and the video definitely fits the title. The video only runs about three and a half minute, but there is about four minutes of the interview with Kanye on 106th and Park, which I think is pretty cool.

"Richman - 3OH!3"

Hailing From Colorado, Rap Duo 3OH!3 Not Only Bring An Interesting Name, But Also An Interesting Sound And Style To Richman

I know this picture doesn't show what the guys in 3OH!3 look like, but I thought it was representative of the kind of music they have. 3OH!3 has a strong underground following thanks to their strong party beats and songs that move. I have been playing Richman constantly for the past two weeks when I first heard it.

Richman is off of 3OH!3's album Want, which was released back in 2008. I know the timing on this song is late, but I am hoping to spread the music of 3OH!3 a little more, and I definitely think they are a hot act. Richman is a quintessential party song that belongs at every and any party.

"DJ Earworm - United States of Pop 2008"

DJ Earworm Relseas His Yearly Mashup Of All The Top Songs, United States Of Pop 2008 Chronicles All The Hit Songs Of 2008

So DJ Earworm is a DJ who does these mashups every year of the top 25 songs from the previous year. This year's mashup from 2008 has artists like Lil' Wayne, Chris Brown, Coldplay, and Pink, just to name a few

I really like this mashup a lot and think Earworm did a really good song. I just wish he had switched up the beat a little more like his song last year. He keeps Coldplay's Viva La Vida as the beat for the entire song and layers lyrics on top of that. A little more variety would have really put it over the top, but overall it is a sick song.

"Eminem - We Made You" (Video)

Eminem Releases The Video For His Newest Single, We Made You, Produced By Dr. Dre

So Eminem is back to his usual stuff. Crack A Bottle was a little harder than this song, but it is what you come to expect from him. We Made You is produced by Dr. Dre and is off of Eminem's upcoming album, Relapse, set to be released in May.

I don't really like these kind of songs from Eminem, but I got to admit that the music video is really funny. He makes fun of a lot of the people out there in pop culture, and he hits everything pretty square on the head. The video also has parodies from Dr. Dre and 50 Cent. I am not really feeling the song, but I think the video is hilarious.

"Lady Gaga - Poker Face" (Live On Comcast)

Continuing The Theme Of Lady Gaga Themed Posts, & In Response To A Comment I Received About The Last Post. Here Is Lady Gaga Performing An "Interesting" version Of Her Current Smash Hit - Poker Face.

Lady Gaga - Poker Face (Live Piano)

This is one of the funniest things I have seen/heard in a long time, at first, I honestly thought it was a joke, but she really does believe herself to be a musical genius! For real, has she locked Gwen Stefani in a room somewhere & tried to take her place.

I hate to admit that I cannot get the real version of this song out of my head, but still, maybe Gaga should head off & be a fashion designer, because she knows how to look hot. But, I for one, can't see her hedonistic crap lasting much longer than one album... "I'm Bluffin' With My Muffin" - Please!

Randomly - Props to Scott Mills On Radio 1 for finding this gem.
