This week I have chosen another British R&B track from the 90s, in the form of The Brand New Heavies with Dream On Dreamer. Technically speaking, The Heavies are more of a Jazz band, but that didn't stop them reaching the UK top 20 in 1994 with this R&B jam.
I remember loving this song when I was a child, before I even new who made it, I could always spot talent. Ha! Wicked Memories.

The Heavies are the truth. I did a piece on them talking about when they worked with Siedah Garret and Nicole Russo back in March.
This is one of my favorite N'Dea Davenport fronted Heavies jams. "Love Is" from their last album "Get Used to It" (2006) is also another Davenport fronted Heavies classic.
