It Is Confirmed! Lil Wayne Has Broken The Million Sales Mark With His Amazing New Album - Tha Carter III.


The official sales figure for the first 7 days is - 1,005,545 - which obliterated in the competition in the Hot 100, outselling the Number #2 Position by almost 800,000 copies. It is also the highest début since 50 Cent's - Massacre in 2005.

This is a mammoth event in Hip-Hop, for an artist who is not known well in mainstream music to smash a record like this is a major achievement. Especially as the album is a real effort & not some Pop piece of crap, although they are some holes I could pick at, I think Tha Carter III is my favourite album of 2008 so far.
