Here Is The Official Second Single From Ne-Yo's New Album - Year Of The Gentleman. Miss Independent Is Another Hot Track With European Style Production.
As others have mentioned, Miss Independent is not as instantly likeable as Ne-Yo's current single Closer, I'll admit the track does feel a little toned down compared with his current high-tempo cut. Still, I can totally see the potential of this song, I promise it will not be long until you can't get this out of your head.
I still find it hard to believe that Closer didn't burn in the US like it did over here in the UK, maybe this is a sign of things to come? I mean, we have already adopted Kelly Rowland into our country, I for one will welcome Ne-Yo with open arms.

Ne-Yo has such a great voice and undeniable talent. I can see why the masses would dig this, but I would prefer he put a little more thought and creativity into his lyrics. That change I think would be the icing on the cake.
I hyped it on Everhype and scored it 86% which I think is fairly accurate.
