"Brandy - Porcelain Doll"

Porcelain Doll Is Brandy's Second Song Off Of Her Comeback Album, Human.

To tell the truth, I am not the biggest Brandy fan. However, when I heard Right Here (Departed), her first song off her new album Human, I was quite impressed by her and was eager to hear what else she would have on her new album. Despite my anticipation, I was honestly let down by Porcelain Doll.

The song actually started off pretty well, and by that I mean the first fifteen seconds seemed to promise a really strong beat. Then it just went into a soft beat, which was not what I expected, and nothing like her first song off Human. The lyrics didn't seem to help either. The concept of a porcelain doll didn't really make sense to me, and none of the lyrics really stood out in my mind. But hey, I never really liked Moesha or Brandy, so maybe I'm wrong.

The song is amazing. Listen with your imagination. It's very cinematic..you'll understand once you just vibe out to it.

Yeah, I have to agree with anonymous...this is song is really amazing...and I respect your opinion...obviously you don't get Brandy and can't appreciate the level that she is on musically...cuz her impact on the industry will always be underrated and unstated...but that's just the artist that she is...She's a blessing...and the song is fire! Thanks for this forum.
