Hmmm, while I was ultimately impressed with If I Were A Boy, I am not going to be so complimentary of Single Ladies, it feels very much like a track from Beyonce's alst album rather than any sort of growth into a new sound.
The Dream/Tricky Stewart production certainly does it's thing, the odd sound effects used are not off putting but make the track curious. But the tedious 'Soul Clap' that runs throughout the track is annoying to say the least, I think the "Let's Go Ladies" sound has been worked by Beyonce far too much & has come to the end of it's life.

I refuse to accept that this would be released as a single alongside If I Were a Boy. The recent leaked/unreleased tracks are much better than this ho-hum filler.
