Ne-Yo Performed New Single Miss Independent On The David Letterman Show October 16.
Ne-Yo will soon be busy with more than just singing and writing as he will act in as well as executive produce and write the soundtrack for upcoming film Venice Beach. Screenwriter Duane Adler who wrote "Step Up" as well as "Save the Last Dance" and it's sequel, in which Ne-Yo was in, is writing yet another music orientated film. Well if it ain't broken...
It's in fact Ne-Yo 29th (yeah i didn't know he was almost 30 either) birthday today. Happy Birthday!

Venice Beach centers on an 18-year-old Manhattan Beach woman who, after her talented older sister dies in a car accident, represses her own singing talent until she meets a gifted musician-singer (Ne-Yo) from Venice Beach. A budding romance between the two turns into a quest for musical careers, which meets resistance from his friends and her family.Sounds like it's all been done before. Either way I'll probably still watch it (I love dance/music films) even if the storyline is not the most original.
