"Flo-Rida ft. Timbaland - Elevator"

Here Is A HOT New Track From New-To-The-Game Artist Flo-Rida.

While Flo's flow is pretty slick & the lyrics are pretty standard, the beat & production are phenomenal, only one guy could produce this amount of genius: Timbaland. This is the hot stuff that he used to make for the great days with Missy & Aaliyah, I have been waiting for Timbo to return to form for ages.

I got so excited about this beat as soon as I heard it, maybe this is the sort of stuff that will feature on the new Missy record, when it is release later this year. If you are a fan of the old-school beats of Tim, rather than the newer Pop stuff, then you will love this track.

Just a note, anyone else notice that the hook on Elevator sounds just a little bit like umbrella-ella!

Danity Kane Cover King Magazine

In An Obvious Effort At Some Promotion Before They Drop Their New Album, Danity Kane Have Got On The cover Of King Magazine.

As expected, the cover looks hot, these girls are fine & they know it, using their looks to their advantage, & rightly so. It has been said that it was the only reason these girls got in the band, while I think it helped, I also think that they do have actual talent.

Check out the mag & let me know what you think?

"Trey Songz ft. Lil Wayne - Can't Help But Wait" (Remix)

Here IS The Official Remix To Trey Songz Huge R&B Jam; Can't Help But Wait.

It's pretty obvious 'what' this is, it is the Hip-Hop version of the song, I assume to keep up the momentum & to get the track played in clubs. Luckily, this has not backfired on Trey, as this deserves to be a new song in it's own right.

Lil Wayne is on fire as usual, this guys flow is from a different planet, he can spit about anything & make it sound good. Weezy could make a brain tumor sound cool if he rapped about it. He adds a lot to this track, as well as the new production & lyrics from Trey.

Still, I like the original better, it was really genuine & was one of my favorites from a very solid album. In fact, if you haven't got a copy, you should go & buy Trey Day, definitely recommended.

"Danity Kane ft. Diddy - Damaged"

Here Is The Official First Single From Making The Band Winners; Danity Kane.

This one features Diddy himself, if only in a small way, & was chosen by fans on their website. It seems a little biased asking people who are already fans, but who am I to question it? Still, I ain't hating on it because it's pretty solid.

Damaged is not groundbreaking by any means, but the standard, repetitive drum beat, measured with a good melody & some nice harmonies, makes for a good track. These girls have not been pushed to their limits, they really are talented, but have never had a track that challenges them.

Damaged will appeal to fans, radio audiences & clubbers alike, so hopefully it will bring them success. Let me know what you think?

"Duffy - Mercy"

First Off, I Don't Want To Sound Like I'm The First Person To Discover This Artist, Because After Doing My Research, She Already Has A Cult Following.

This is Duffy, she is set to do big things & you will understand why when you hear her voice, it's magnificent. She has already been hailed as the Amy Winehouse of 2008, which are some mighty big boots to fill.

Mercy is the first single to be lifted from her debut album Rockferry, the track is a throwback to the 60's Soul scene & it is captivating from the first listen, I personally love it. This girl is going to be huge, so don't just pass by this one because you've never heard of her, if you want to hear the first huge UK hit of 2008, do so below.

Beyonce & Tina Turner To Duet At The Grammys?

Source - Concreteloop

If Rumors Are To Be Believed, The Current Queen Of R&B; Beyonce Knowles, Is To Duet With Living Legend; Tina Turner.

The supposed duet is to take place at this years Grammy Awards, on Feb 10th. The ceremony was in jeopardy after the 'Writers Guild Strike' threatened to picket outside the famous awards, but this threat has now been withdrawn, leaving the A-listers free to attend.

If this does go ahead it will definitely be a good look, most people seem to have forgotten what a talent Tina is, & the fact that she was the Beyonce of her time.

"Paula Deanda ft. The Dey - Walk Away (Remember Me)" (Video)

I Know It Has Been Around For A Minute Now, But For Those Who Haven't Yet Seen Or Heard Paula Deana's Debut Single, Here Is Walk Away.

Paula is 'Sony BMG's' new signing, under their 'So-Urban' label. She is from Texas & was scouted by legendary A&R executive 'Clive Davis' (Whitney Houston, Leona Lewis). Although her first offering is a little too 'Pop' for my liking, I still think it's a good radio tune.

I'm more excited by the fact that it features rap from The Dey, who I am plugging hard on my blog, I'm also real excited that they have got a full record contract. I think they will be the next 'B.E.P' if given half a chance.

Check out the video below & let me know what you think of Paula?

"Sean Kingston ft. Juelz Santana & Elan - There's Nothin'"

Source - Chris-Pix

Here Is The Official Single Release Of Sean Kingston's New Single; There's Nothin'.

Th original album version featured Paula DeAnda (Sony BMG's new signing), but she has been replaced with a hot verse from Juelz Santana & female vocals from Elan (Of The Dey).

I think the track is pretty hot, the only thing that annoys me is the fact that Sean's album contains some good material, yet the single choices have been terrible, I'm sure no one wants to hear anymore pop crap from this guy.

Still, it's so good to see The Dey getting some public attention, I have been following these guys for a while & they are hot, check out their official site Here & look for a track called Get The Feeling (produced by Timbaland).

"Kanye West ft. Dwele & R. Kelly - Flashing Lights" (Remix)

Source - The Regulators

Here Is A New Remix To Kanye West's Current US Single; Flashing Lights.

R. Kelly lends some R&B vocals to this mix, end result is pretty middle of the road , laugh at Kells line - 'Flash Your Light On Me'.

I'm really not an R. Kelly fan, but if you are you will probably love it. I'm feeling the original much more, it's another epic Kanye track.

Mariah On The Beach

Source - That Grape Juice

With Mariah Carey's Hugely Anticipated New Album; That Chick, Due For Release On April 1st, It Seems She Has Started The Publicity Runs Already.

Here she is after being snapped in the Caribbean, my first thought was 'Damn She Looks Good', this woman is 37 years old, she looks like she's in her 20s! I just laugh at the whole look of the shot, as if it all happened by accident: 'Oops My Top Just Fell Off, Oh No There's A Photographer'. Ha!

"N.E.R.D - Everyone Nose"

Word On Net Is That This Is Set To Be N.E.R.D's First Single From Their New Album; N.3.R.D.

The song is called Everyone Nose (or Noes) & is, on first listen, a little weird. But give it a few listens & wait for that Pharrell magic to hit you & it becomes real jam. Love the production & the quirky lyrics.

You might hate it at first, but give it a few spins before you make your minds up. I think this will be a return to form & a big hit.

"Janet Jackson - Feedback" (Timbaland Remix)

Source - Chris-Pix

This Track Is Rumored To Be The Official Remix To Janet Jackson's Huge New Hit; Feedback.

Apparently it has been produced by the worlds most renowned producer; Timbaland. I'm personally not so sure, I'm a huge Timbo fan & can usually spot his beats a mile away, but we will have to wait & see. Whoever has made these beats, they are pretty sick!

In my opinion the 'Dark Child' beats of the original were amazing, it is the reason why I liked the song in the first place. I don't feel that a remix is necessary at all, but I'm not going to hate on some brilliant beats.

"Snoop Dogg ft. Lil Kim - Sensual Seduction" (Remix)

Here Is A Hot Remix Of Snoop Dogg's New Single Sensual Seduction / Sexual Eruption.

The new version features Lil Kim & is pretty solid, the beats have been tweaked & Kim is her usual dirty self, lol. I am really feeling Snoop's new sound & I hope people accept what her is trying to do.

"Mariah Carey - That Chick" (Album Cover)

Here Is A Shot Of The Album Cover For Mariah Carey's Hugely Anticipated New Record That Chick.

Mariah's new album was previewed last week at an album listening party here in the UK, along with it went the first listen of Janet Jackson's new album 'Discipline'. From the reports I heard, it seems that both albums went down well, but Mariah's blew people away. I heard one controversial comment saying that it sounds better than her last album, which now stands as a modern classic in R&B.

Anyway, back to the cover, I'm not really feeling it, it seems too fake & over air-brushed, it's already been done a million times. No matter how fine Mariah looks, it's just not original, still it's only a cover, so let's not hate too much!

"Craig David - 6 Of 1 Thing" (Video)

Here Is The Brand New Video For Craig David's New Single 6 Of 1 Thing.

For those who don't know, Craig is a UK R&B singer who has been a star for quite a while but never really gained that 'musical respect' that some British artists have. I've never been a huge fan of Craig's but he does make some undeniably catchy records, this being another one of them.

This fast paced record is a real easy listen & I am feeling it at the moment, it has been doing the rounds across UK urban radio but hasn't hit the mainstream yet. The video is pretty 'middle of the road', but I like it all the same. It will be interesting to see how well it does.

Rihanna Covers FHM Magazine

R&B-Pop Superstar Rihanna Continues Her Campaign Of World Domination By Covering FHM Magazine.

Credit to her, she has done a remarkable job of handling her explosion of fame, she still seems to keep a level head & a nice attitude. Moving on the magazine itself, she looks very hot (as ever), even if it looks over-airbrushed.
