"Cherish - Amnesia" (Video)

As R&B Quartet Cherish Ready The Release Of Their Sophomore Album - The Truth. The Video For The Second Single - Amnesia - Has Surfaced.

The track is really solid, it's not up there with Killa, but still offers some radio potential, without loosing the quality harmonies. I think there are much better tracks on The Truth, but I'm not against Amnesia being released as a single.

I am surprised that Cherish are not more successful by now, there seems to be a hole in the market for that Destiny's Child sound, but I'm not so sure that Cherish can bring it. Also, I don't think that they have been promoted to their potential either, I don't like seeing artists being crammed down your throat, but I have never even seen these girls out of the USA.

"Cherish - Amnesia"

R&B Quartet Cherish Are Currently Prepping The Release Of Their Sophomore Album - The Truth. Amnesia Is Set To Be The Second Single From The Project.

While Cherish have their charms, they always appear to be a 'Diet Coke' version of Destiny's Child, still I can't hate on their efforts so far, while Amnesia isn't going to set the world on fire, this ballad does have some strengths.

The girls vocals do seem improved from previous efforts, the song is pretty standard in writing terms & the lyrics are easily remembered. I think the Killer strength is in the vocal arrangements, while it can sometimes be hard to distinguish singers in a band, each member of Cherish pulls of their part brilliantly. They flow beautifully of the soft production & pull off both the harmonies & melodies really well.
