Gym Class Heroes Release Kissin' Ears, Their Second Single Featuring The Dream Off Of Their New Album - The Quilt.

To be honest, when Gym Class Heroes first came out, I was not a huge fan. But over time, the group has managed to grow on my. I still think they are not as tough as they think they are, but their music has been gradually improving. With this newest song Kissin' Ears, they team up with The Dream for the hook and Tricky Stewart for the beat.

The thing I like about the beginning of Kissin' Ears is how it starts out slow and then jumps right into a fast paced beat. Teaming up with The Dream is always a plus for me, as I have said before I don't like The Dream's own stuff but when he does the hook for a track I think it can really set it off. Not to mention the lyrics and flow of Travis McCoy. McCoy has really impressed me and his delivery and style in my opinion sets him out as one of the better rappers in the game.

Overall, the is a solid track from Gym Class Heroes and is a sign of a solid album to come.

"Gym Class Heroes ft. Dre & Lil Wayne - Don't Tell Me It's Over"

Here Is The Rumoured New Single From Gym Class Heroes, Lifted From Their New Album - The Quilt. Don't Tell Me It's Over Features Dre (from Cool & Dre) & Lil Wayne.


It seems odd to hear Dre singing on a track & I can see why, the vocals sound very over dubbed, but it's a nice effect. Travis is normally one of those guys that annoys the hell out of me, but once he gets his attitude on, he is quite a mean MC, finally he's stopped playing the clown.

Don't Tell Me It's Over is excellent, the production, again courtesy of Cool & Dre, is on-point, Travis comes through lyrically & Weezy does his usually mastery on the mic. It's not faultless, but it's probably my favourite Gym Class Heroes song to date. Good Stuff!

Here Is The Brand New Video From Gym Class Heroes For Their Current Single - Cookie Jar. Why Did This Video Take So Long To Come Around?

Although I initially liked this track for it's massive hook & catchy-ness, it got old extremely fast in my opinion. This song was released about 6 weeks ago, so the fact that the video is so late seems like very messy management to me.

The video for Cookie Jar is just as un-inspiring as the song itself, I am really disappointed with how this whole project has been handled, let's hope that they can bring their A-Game for their new album - The Quilt, which is due for release on September 9th.

Hot Off the Relative Success Of Their Last Album, Gym Class Heroes Are Already Prepping The Release Of Their Next Project - The Quilt. Here Is the Lead Single, Featuring The-Dream, It Is Entitled - Cookie Jar.


The first thing that hit me was the distinctive production, it has that effortless addictive sound of The-Dream. While the lyrical content is empty as ever, it has Gym Class Heroes mark all over it, that R&B/Pop sound that I can't help but love.

I still can't help but to dislike Travis, he just annoys the hell out of me & I can't explain why, apart from the fact that he is one of the whack-est rappers out there at the moment. However, it doesn't put me off of a really good Pop song.
