"Omarion ft. Missy Elliott - Boogie Police"

Here Is A New, Badly Titled, Track That Is Reported To Have Leaked From Omarion's New Album, Which Is Tentatively Titled - Cut Off Braids. Boogie Police Features The Legendary Missy Elliott & Is A Middle Of The Road Club Joint.

There has been a lot of talk around Omarion since he was dropped from his record label earlier this year, he has since signed to Timbaland's Mosley Music Group & this Missy aided track is proof of his new sound.

While the knocking production is hot, the song is in the lyrical slums, I am not someone who always needs top lyrics to make a record, as I see the point of a tap your feet club track. But, I am just not feeling this new Omarion sound, I think this demographic is already covered & unless he steps up his game with something fresh, he is going to be dead & burried soon enough.

"Ciara ft. Missy Elliott - Work"

Newest Track From Ciara Off Of Her Latest Album Fantasy Ride, Work Features Missy Elliott & Was Produced By Danja

Ciara looks to be trying to follow the same recipe of success she had with 1, 2 Step: mix Missy Elliott with a fast moving beat and get people to move. For Work, Ciara called on the production skills of Danja in order to make the song that much better. Despite the mix of Danja, Missy, & Ciara, the song didn't really impress me that much.

In the past I have really liked Ciara's stuff, and when I heard Work was produced by Danja, I got excited to listen to it and review it. However, the beat wasn't as strong or good as I thought it would be. It seemed to be a little weird and chaotic. For this song, the Missy-Ciara connection seemed to miss because Missy's part on the song wasn't that important or strong. Ciara's album Fantasy Ride should do well, but I don't see this being one of the strongest tracks available.

"DJ Khaled ft. Sean Paul, Missy Elliott & Busta Rhymes - She's Fine"

DJ Khaled Releases His Newest Track She's Fine Featuring Sean Paul, Missy Elliott & Busta Rhymes

I am not the biggest fan of DJ Khaled as a person, but the music he produces and the artists he can get on a track are amazing. With his newest song She's Fine, DJ Khaled gets Sean Paul, Missy Elliott, and Busta Rhymes to team up on a track.

She's Fine is a fast paced song that will fit very well into parties and clubs. Even though it is difficult to understand what Sean Paul is saying over the hook, it is still a pretty solid and catchy hook. Missy Elliott and Busta Rhymes also do a good job holding their parts of the track down. Overall, She's Fine is a pretty good DJ Khaled track that is a fun song to listen and move to.

"Pussycat Dolls ft. Missy Elliott - Whatcha Think About That "

The Pussycat Dolls Are On The Warpath With Their New Album - Doll Domination. Whatcha Think About That Is A New, Confirmed Track From The Album.

Whatcha Think About That features Hip-Hop heavyweight Missy Elliott & is just as annoying as every other track they have come out with, I really am trying to think of nice things to say about this one & all I can come up with is the production. The 'odd sounding' beats are something new for the dolls, I don't know who the producer is but I think it might be Missy herself, whoever it is, the beats hot.

While I haven't heard much material from the Pussycat Dolls new album, if this is all they can come up with as world clas Pop stars, then I think their domination may be short lived.

"Jazmine Sullivan ft. Missy Elliott - Need U Bad" (Video)

Following On From Our Introduction To Jazmine Sullivan, Here Is The Official Video For Need U Bad.

The track features Missy Elliott, more as a producer than a rapper, but I suppose it adds credibility & gets the track noticed. Anyway, the track is so, so strong, this girl vocal style is what sets her apart from the pack, she doesn't need to be Whitney Houston to put her voice to use.

Jazmine Sullivan - Need U Bad

I am really liking the video as well, I think it adds well to that slightly 'Old School' vibe that the track already has. It obviously has broken the bank, but it's not particularly necessary when the song speaks for itself, definitely one of my current favourites, this girl is going to go far.

INTRODUCING - "Jazmine Sullivan ft. Missy Elliott - Need U Bad"

Jazmine Sullivan Is The Feature Of The Next Instalment Of Introducing, Urban Review's Attempt To Get Some New Talent Noticed.

While this track is a little old, I expected it to be a lot bigger than it actually was, so I thought I would bring it to the attention of your critical ears.

Need U Bad is the first single to be lifted from Jazmine's début album - Fearless, it was produced by & features Missy Elliott, it shows off something that is rare in this day & age, soul. I doubt I am the first to say this, nor will I be the last, Sullivan has that distinctive singing style of the legendary Lauryn Hill.

The fact hat this lady has been singing since the age of 5 fills me with confidence that she really sings from the heart, rather than for the huge amount of money that is sure to come her way. I wish there were more artist out there that can produce soulful music like this, support it!

As alwas, the point of this feature is you, because without your comments or ratings then the record company don't get feedback, which means talented artists may slip through the net. So make sure you take a minute to leave a comment so I can pass it on for you. Thanks.

"Missy Elliott - Best, Best"

Oh You Know That Ish! Here Is The Official First Single From Missy Elliott's Brand New Album - Block Party. Best, Best Is A Danja Production & Is Something A Little Different From Missy.

The 'left from centre' track is very rhythmic & as usual, is extremely unique, name me another track that sounds like this at the moment? Still, my Missy faith is being tested a little, after a few listens I'm not in love with this track as much as I love Ching-A-Ling.

While I am feeling the beats, the flow & the originality of the track, it just hasn't captured me yet, if this were any other artists, i would be praising it, but I have come to expect only the best from Missy. However, I will stick with it, as neither Timbo, Danja or Missy herself have ever failed me yet.

Missy Elliott Reveals New Album Title

Earlier In The Year, Missy Elliott Asked Her Fans To Suggest Names For Her New Album... & For Some Reason That Is Beyond Me, She Has Chosen - FANomenal!

... Yeah, not exactly creative is it? & I know what your thinking, "must he criticise everything?" Well yes I must... Anyway, here is Missy's explanation of the title:

"I had a contest and we had so many people taking part. There were so many fans and I decided I wanted to dedicate it to my fans and spell it with F-A-N, FANomenal. I have had so many people sticking with Missy from day one. So this album is for them."

Fair enough, I would most definitely include myself in this explanation, I have been a fan of Missy for ever really, so it's cool that she would dedicate this album to people who have supported her. However, her album titles have always been relevant or creative, or just cool - FANomenal just ain't cutting it for me.

Name Missy Elliott's New Album

After Some Speculation Over The Pending Title Of Missy Elliott's New Album, She Has Made The Decision To Let Her Fans Choose A Name.

I have heard of artists letting their fans choose new singles or tracks to be on albums, but never to actually name it. But, Missy has never been one to stick to the norm, she has always been an innovator & always will be.

I'm not so sure on the idea myself, I think the title of an artists album should reflect the mood of the record or person ( like Mary J's Growing Pains ), but then again, she will have final say on the suggestions, so I'm sure she will choose something special. "Missy Elliott - Ching-A-Ling / Shake Your Pom Pom" (Video)

The Great Innovator; Missy Elliott Has A HUGE Return To Form With Her New Video For Ching-A-Ling / Shake Your Pom Pom. Both Taken From The Step Up 2 Soundtrack.

Not to be out done by anyone, Missy & director Dave Meyers have created the worlds first 3D music video, grab your 3D specs as fast as you can. This video is amazing, the sheer randomness of Missy always grabs me, she is the greatest female MC ever, without a doubt.

Missy is fresh to death, both of these tracks will be going on the greatest hits collection I'm sure. What is more exciting to me than words can express is the fact that Elliott is back in the studio with Timbaland, the dynamic duo will be working on a new record. If the world was perfect, Aaliyah would be with them & the dream team would be back together!

Amazing!

"Missy Elliott - Shake Your Pom Pom"

Source - The Regulators

Here Is A New Confirmed Track From Missy Elliott's Seventh Studio Album, Tentatively Titled The Countdown.

Shake Your Pom Pom is reported to be the first official single from the new project, & will appear on the Step Up 2 soundtrack. After the huge popularity of Missy's current single; Ching-A-Ling (also from the soundtrack), I'm not surprised that they have decided to put something fresh out.

The track itself is HUGE, it is such a banger, production from Timbaland is absolutely on-point, this team is back in action, at last! I'm totally hyped about the new album, Tim & Missy are one of the greatest Hip-Hop teams in history, & Timbo is my favourite musician, period.

"Missy Elliott - Ching-A-Ling"

Damn, It's Been Along Time Since I've Heard Anything From Missy Elliott, But Here Is A New Track That Has Emerged Called Ching-A-Ling.

Missy is one of my favourite artist, period, & while this track didn't 'click' with me straight away, now it's one of my tunes around. The beat, lyrics & style is 100% Missy, she seems to have stuck with that same formula that has brought her success of the years.

It just feels so good to have someone as inventive as Missy remaining in the game for so long, she can't go wrong in my eyes. Ching-A-Ling is taken from the excellent soundtrack to the new movie - Step Up 2 - one of the best soundtracks I have heard in a long while.
