I love this song it's even ten times better with Sean Paul on the remix. The video is good but i think it could of been much better if there was some real on screen chemistry between them. All the scenes on the red backdrop where Estelle is singing to the camera she could of been facing Sean Paul. I'm just saying.

This one comes courtesy of The Wideboys, who are a DJ-ing duo from Britain, they have been responsible for Remixes to a lot of top tunes, including: Shut Up & Drive (Rihanna), Break The Ice (Britney Spears) & Teenage Love Affair (Alicia Keys).

This one is hot, The Wideboys bring that heavy, heavy UK Dance feel with their brand new production, I'm not sure why they do this for US songs as you guys seem to hate this sound. But I can't get enough of it, this was an AMAZING song beforehand & now I have a fresh version to spin in my car. Big Thumbs Up!

I adore this track at the moment, Taio is doing his thing with Departure & this was a personal favourite from day one. Now he has been joined by Busta Rhymes & interestingly, The Sugababes, for a top quality remix that adds to the original cuts charm.

Busta is consistent as ever, Taio keeps his standard versusu & The Sugababes work their own verse to it's full. i was really surprised to see thme on this track, much the reason why I thought it wasn't official. But they do really well & are one of the most talented Pop artists in the Uk scene at the moment, maybe this is a miove into the urban scene for them?

Hmmm... Mariah Is Churning Out A Lot Of Remixes From E=MC2, Here Is The I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time Remix Featuring LL Cool J.


Firstly, LL needs to up his game, his burst at the get go is pretty weak & why is he absent from the chorus & Mariah's verses. Still, I like the production change on the record, it gives it a fresh feel while remaining 'chilled' for that summer vibe.

I know that Mariah loves rappers & Hip-Hop remixes of her records have always been a priority of hers, however, the close proximity of these remixes makes me wonder if we have an E=MC2 re-release on our hands? It would help add some much needed magic to an album that is dropping like a lead balloon compared to 'The Emancipation'.

Superstar Songstress Mariah Carey Has Teamed Up With Long-Term Collaborator Busta Rhymes For A Remix/Single Release Of Top Track Side Effects.


First off, I believe this to be the best all rounder from Carey's current album - E=MC2, but why have they removed Young Jeezy's amazing effort for this middle of the road spit from Busta? Also, why has the tempo been slowed & why have they messed with the instrumentals? Or is this all just my imagination?

I will push this all aside for what is a brilliant track from Mariah, Side Effects has top vocals, added to knocking production values & actual lyrical substance, this has to be the hit that she has been searching for. Can you believe this album is taking such a knock in the singles charts?

Here Is An Official Remix To Jay Sean's Current Single - Stay, Officially Know As The Boy Better Know Remix.

This mix features Frisco, Skepta, Jammer & UK wonder boy Chipmunk, the latter does an amazing job with this track. Jay's original track was solid, but this remix is more like a totally different song, still I can't get enough of it.

The video for the track is pretty standard for the UK scene, it has that Grime feel to it, but it's not 'tacky' at all, so I'm feeling it. I hope this version gets sent to radio as it shows off some real UK Grime talent that doesn't get enough mainstream exposure.

I'm not saying he beats Lil Wayne because I'm not a moron, however, I was truly impressed.

Here Is The Official Remix To Alicia Keys' New Single - Teenage Love Affair. It Features Veteran Rapper LL Cool J.


Swizz Beatz, who is responsible for the mixing on the track, has actually thought about it well, as it has been mixed with Slick Rick's - Teenage Love. Nice touch. I'm not sure about slowing the tempo that much, or the splits in Alicia's original vocals, still, it works pretty well.

I've never really been a huge fan of LL Cool J, I don't quite understand what he does well? He has never appealed to me as a rapper, & his acting skills are definitely questionable. However, I'm not here to hate, so let's just enjoy the easy listening tracks that he is pumping out at the moment.

Mariah Carey Returns With The Third Single From Her Solid LP - E=MC2. The Video Version Of I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time Is Set To Be This Remix, With Rapper T.I.


Apart form the disgracefully bad title, I really like this song, it's a somewhat unexpected single due to the fact that there are much stronger tracks on the album (Migrate, Side Effects), however, it is a real catchy tune & has a dance vibe that I totally feel.

I can see the appeal of adding T.I to the track, it includes the male demographic more than the original & reflects Mariah's obvious love of Hip-Hop music & culture. Still, it annoys me a little that every Carey remix holds the same formula, maybe she should commission one with an R&B or Soul star, a Mary J. Blige duet would be hot!

After I Posted A Jay Z Remix Of Mariah's Latest Single - Bye Bye, I Assumed It Was The Official One. However, Here Is A Brand New Mix Featuring Akon & Lil Wayne.


I'm not feeling it that much, I can see the point of it, obviously Mariah is trying to extend the audience to the Hip-Hop heads, however this is a slow jam R&B number, there is no way it will crossover that well.

From my perceptions, it seems that Mariah's album is not fairing as well as expected, I do think that this was a poor single choice because of the amazing array of tracks on E=MC2. Still, while it may have not achieved the same critical acclaim as 'The Emancipation', I suppose the sales speak for themselves.

Here Is A Hot UK Remix Of Taio Cruz's Current Single - I Can Be. It Features 'Your Girl Estelle' & I Am Really Liking It.


I only have one bone to pick with people over this song & by posting it I'm being a hypocrite because I don't think this track is urban. I hate to say it, but someone has to, if N-Sync had made this track, the urban community would spit on it, just because a track has a couple of kick drums, it doesn't make it R&B.

But, don't get me wrong, I really like this track even if it is a Pop record, & Estelle's added verse really opens it up to that more urban audience. I really never plugged this album either, it is a real good look for Taio, there honestly is not a bad song on the whole record, if you haven't grabbed a cope yet, you really will not be disappointed.

Weezy & Yeezy Join Forces Once Again For This Paramount Remix Of Lil Wayne's Current Hit - Lollipop.


At first, I was a real critic of Lollipop, it doesn't have that much lyrical value & it is the most radio friendly track Wayne has ever put out. However, I now realise the Club/Dance potential of this track, every time I hear the intro it makes me want to move!

Once you have finished your 'Gangsta Lean', you can enjoy the deeper remix of the track, Kanye really does his thing on this one - "How Many Licks Do It Take Before She Get To Shop" - LMAO at that. With extra versus from Wayne & the same slick production, this is a winner with me.

While I am really feeling this track, how they can call it a remix is anyone's guess. With new production, completely different versus & a cut up of the hook, it feels like a completely different song.

My first thought was that they shouldn't have scrapped the original production as it was outstanding, but after I got over that & heard amazing flows by Kanye & Lupe, I forgave them. Ye actually put out this version on his blog & he states that this isn't the final mastered version, but it sounds pretty solid to me.

After The Huge Success Of Usher's Latest Track - Love In The Club, Here Is A New Song Dubbed - Part II.


Beyonce & Lil Wayne have jumped on the track in a strange combination, I can see the King & Queen of R&B joining forces, but Weezy seems a little lost IMO. Still, the track feels more like contemporary R&B over it's Poppy predecessor.

I am really looking forward to Usher's new album, I'm still not a fan of the man, but I love the music. Definitely going to be a hot pick of 2008.

It seems to me, that Mariah's people are trying to bring this track to the clubs, with a new verse from Jay & an adapted, banging beat. It feels unnecessary, as this song was never meant for a club audience, it's an R&B ballad, so I don't really see the need.

"It's The Remix Killer" - Not My Words, But The Words Of R. Kelly On His Remix Of Mariah Carey's - Touch My Body... & Yes, You've Certainly Killed This One Off Kells!


OK, so it's not that bad, R. Kelly serves up some real nice harmonies, his vocal ability has never been questioned by myself. However the track just feels like a bad joint from The-Dream, or something that T-Pain couldn't be bothered to do.

Kell's seems to be determined to drum up some excitement around his new project, tentatively titled - 12 Play Fourth Quarter. I am more excited to see the outcome of his up-coming trial than I am about another egotistical, mediocre album.

Here Is Rumoured To Be The Official Remix To The Biggest Record In The World Right Now - Madonna's 4 Minutes.


Obviously, this is a Timbaland remix & uses the beat from the intro/outro of the 4 Minutes video, this is some hot ish. I recently commented on just how good the intro beat was to the video & now I think it is even better.

Timbaland has come under a lot of fire recently because of his work with the likes of Justin Timberlake & Nelly Furtado, saying that he has forgotten the street & that he is 'watering down' his massive beats.

I will always support Timbo in whatever he does because I think the man is God himself. IMO this beat, as well as the original 4 Minutes beat are just as good as he used to make back in the days of Aaliyah & Missy. He has literally shaped the music world for the last decade, you can't blame him for wanting his time in the limelight. Timbo The King!
