Here Is The Official Video For LL Cool J's New Single - Baby, Which Is Hot Because It Features The-Dream.
Firstly, I have not lost my mind, I understand that: 1. LL Cool J is one of the most inept rappers out there. 2. This song has terrible lyrics & is only saved by the repetitive hook & catchy production.
Despite all of that, I can't help but love this record, The-Dream is some sort of Hip-Pop genius, he just cannot fail to make a great radio records & his own album was one of my favourites of 2007/2008.
LL Cool J - Baby
The video for the track is totally fit for purpose, it doesn't go anywhere or develope the song, but it's mindless 'move your feet' music, so it's perfect. On a random side note, one of my friends has The-Dream's white hoodie, it's a good look.

"Gym Class Heroes ft. The-Dream - Cookie Jar"
Hot Off the Relative Success Of Their Last Album, Gym Class Heroes Are Already Prepping The Release Of Their Next Project - The Quilt. Here Is the Lead Single, Featuring The-Dream, It Is Entitled - Cookie Jar.
The first thing that hit me was the distinctive production, it has that effortless addictive sound of The-Dream. While the lyrical content is empty as ever, it has Gym Class Heroes mark all over it, that R&B/Pop sound that I can't help but love.
I still can't help but to dislike Travis, he just annoys the hell out of me & I can't explain why, apart from the fact that he is one of the whack-est rappers out there at the moment. However, it doesn't put me off of a really good Pop song.

"LL Cool J ft. The-Dream - Baby"
Here Is The First Official Single From LL Cool J's 13th Studio Album, It Features The-Dream & Is A Nice Radio Track Called - Baby.
As some of you will know, there has been trouble at the top of Def-Jam lately, this has seen the demise of Jay Z as the figurehead of the company & has also resulted in many artists questioning their positions.
LL Cool J has decided to fulfil his Def Jam contract & get out, this usually spells a pretty crappy album, like Janet's '20 Y.O'. Still, the signs for LL's record seem pretty good, Baby is a very good track, it sounds reminisent of The-Dream's fantastic album - Love Hate. I'm really feeling it, even though I'm not the biggest LL fan.

"The-Dream ft. Young Jeezy - I Love Your Girl" (Video)
Why Is The Man Not A Superstar By Now? The-Dream Continues The Single Releases From His Brilliant Début Album - Love Me All Summer / Hate Me All Winter (Love/Hate).
Here is the official video for I Love Your Girl, which is definitely not the hottest track from The 'American' Dream but is still hot, nice production & an added verse from Young Jeezy make for a wicked slow jam. Personally I'm still awaiting the release of the mad hot track - She Needs My Love.
The-Dream - I Love Your Girl
If you haven't yet grabbed The-Dream's album, do it, now! Excellent contemporary R&B tracks, with something added attitude & massively enjoyable. He remains my hot pick for 2008!
